YES, there will be a banquet for the 2007 season. Have 1 volunteer for help, need to roundup giveaways, and find a place. Anyone know of a building available?

Butch, So far I have two gift cards donated for door prizes:

Academy Gift Card donated by Authorized Process & Legal Services.

Hi Butch, I know of a Banquet Hall off the freeway almost in Orange, called The Palms. Very nice place and it would hold everyone no problem. If you plan the banquet in January, Iím sure she would make a deal. Still want that option of serving dinner and everyone buying their own? Hello everyone, Happy New Year!  My idea on the 2007 banquet -  The Palms banquet Hall off the freeway going toward Orange- very nice place. Also, spoke to Van from Tuffy's and he can do steam tables and set up there. If we do this during the week Monday - Thursday night, the price is around $15 a person, depending what we serve and how many people. I thought we would have 200 people.....if More price goes down. Anyone else have any ideas? Time is closing in, and thought we need to set a date and a place. Call if there is anything else I can do- we miss everyone smilin faces. During the middle of the week would be difficult for some of us. I live in Alvin, and it takes us over two hours to get to the race track. By the time you get off work and clean up, we wouldn't be there until after 8pm. Then there is the drive home. I think a Friday or Saturday night would be better. JMO

Oh, yes I agree with you a weekend would be nice. I'm just going by the way things were done since 2003 when we started. I don't know why they had it on a Monday night- unless it was to keep cost down. I'm sure the Banquet hall would double in price to have it on weekend night. Would you rather pay $25 a person to have it on a weekend night? Not sure what the budget is for the banquet. Thanks for your input.... |

Look this is getting rediculous!! Is Motorama going to have a banquet or not? Every other track in this area has had theirs and we are still waiting. If we are not just grow some and say so. Most people need to plan things.
